Peggy Knight Solutions strives to better the lives of adults and children with medical hair loss by providing the finest custom-made hair prostheses, paired with an unmatched level of customer service. This mission is derived from Peggy Knight's personal experience with hair loss.

The PKS client is any man woman or child with medical hair loss. A majority of our clients have a condition called alopecia areata, an immune disorder which causes spots of hair loss and can progress into total hair loss. This disorder can cause the loss of all body hair. There is no known cause or cure for this type of hair loss. Other medical conditions include androgenetic alopecia (female pattern baldness), chemotherapy, radiation treatments, and accidents.

Peggy Knight is the original founder of Locks of Love, along with her best friend Kathy. Kathy grew her hair and gave it to Peggy to use for her personal hairpiece. In the early days of this charity, Peggy described it as a "win, win, win" situation. Children grew hair, cut it and made a donation to other children in need. This is a win for the child who learns how to be philanthropic. It is a win for the child who receives the hairpiece and it is a win for the charity that makes it all happen.
